Hello. My name is Lauren Park and I am a student, currently enrolled at Texas State University in San Marcos. My home town however is Dallas, Texas. I have always been interested in art, especially drawing, from the moment I first discovered I had a niche for it. I really love to do anything that utilizes my creative energy. Writing is another hobby I love, so much that I want to make it my career someday. I find writing to be an art in itself. The blog I created, Artword, plays to my strengths perfectly for it’s artwork explained. I draw my pieces, then explain the story or meaning behind them. I also love helping others, so I wanted my blog to serve as a tutorial on drawing techniques as well. My main medium is digital art. I enjoy digital art because there’s a lot of room for error. I am no where near perfect when it comes to art, but through digital art I am able to maneuver pieces and make mess-free changes and corrections. I love the feeling of being productive and completing tasks. I’m grateful to be a student for it gives me the opportunity to practice my skills in time management, core studies, and professionalism. I cannot wait to carry over all the skills I’ve learnt in school to my life-long career someday. I plan to always remain a hard worker above everything.
